Getting Started with Qencode S3
Introduction
Qencode S3 is a flexible cloud storage service designed for efficient media management and playback. It is highly compatible with Amazon's S3 API and easily interchangeable with existing solutions in the S3 ecosystem. Qencode S3 scales effortlessly with your needs and is built to be the ideal solution for even the largest content libraries. The solution features robust encryption and access control. All of this is available via command line tools or a user-friendly UI that simplifies your file and media management. As always, we do our best to maximize affordability while maintaining the high performance required to play back your video content to users around the world.
Getting Started with Qencode S3
Setting Up Qencode S3 in Your Account:
Make sure you have an active Qencode account. If you have not created one yet, visit the Qencode Sign Up page and follow the registration process.
- Once your account is set up, you can create your bucket. You can also define additional access permissions (like CORS Settings) based on your needs.

Generating Access Keys:
In order to use Qencode S3 programmatically, you must first generate an API key through the Qencode S3 Portal Site.
- In the left navigation menu, click Media storage and then select Access Keys.
- Click Generate new key.
- After generating the key, copy the secret part of the Access Key and store it in a secure location. The access key will not be displayed again when you view the key data in the future.
